Sue Wingrave

Sue has been in the building industry for over 30 years, in that time she has owned her own very successful business in Victoria and came to QLD in 2000.
Sue then become the Dulux trade rep for Gold Coast and help many of her trades to achieve success within their own business. She then went onto to be coming the General Manager of another painting business here in Brisbane and over five years she had taken them from working out of their garage and 2 painters to becoming a national painting company with 10 internal staff members, supervisor in each state and over 50 painters.
Sue is a very big believer in customer service and prides herself on ensuring all her customers are extremely happy before she sign’s off on any jobs. She insists on only using quality products on all of her jobs and all of her painters pride themselves in providing the highest of quality in workmanship, hence the name HIQ Painting.
Jeni Elms
Owner / Director
Jeni's career began in Customer Service, Administration and Finance. Jeni worked in ITS for over 25 years taking on many roles and tasks and raised to top management level in this field.
In 2015 Jeni chose a career change and looked to the building industry for this change. From this change Jeni became passionate about the painting insurance industry, although her role was mainly in the background in Administration and Finance.
Since 2015 Jeni and learnt a lot about the painting industry and the requirements from residential clients and builders, ensuring communication and customer service is at the highest level.
At HiQ Painting Jeni deals more with our builders in the insurance industry on a day to day basis and building relationships with our trades across Australia. Jeni's primary role is making sure the administration side runs smoothly, leaving the more detailed work and quoting to Sue and our staff.
Barry McAlpin
Qld Supervisor
Barry McAlpin is a master painter, having run a successful residential and commercial painting business in the USA for 25 years until 2009.
Since then, Barry has been in Australia, serving clients on the Gold Coast. As a young man, Barry went through the Australian TAFE apprenticeship program, which helped him stand out as a superb quality painter in the competitive USA market. Continual honing of skills across 30 years has seen him juggle complex painting projects, negotiate pricing, collaborate with contractors, supervise painting crews, train apprentices, and consult customers on colour needs and designs. Barry brings his extensive painting knowledge and deep expertise to HiQ Painting, to deliver the highest level of service and satisfaction to our customers..
